UncensHer Magazine

Sophomore Design Studio
2024

Developed a magazine concept addressing the lack of accessible scientific research on women’s health, with the goal of making complex science approachable for all readers.
The project began with research to analyze the landscape of women’s health magazines, followed by an exploration into typography and visual systems. After solidifying the concept, I developed multiple design iterations with placeholder imagery to ensure the execution was effective and that the visuals clearly communicated key ideas about women’s health.
After creating the final design, I served as art director during the photoshoot, working directly with the photographer on the lighting and composition to ensure the imagery aligned with the magazine’s concept and message.

The final concept combined personal typography, close-up photography, and bold perspectives on the female body to create a publication that is both visually compelling and functional.
